Cake Cake Cake Cake Cake

Wednesday 7-30

1) Birthday sex! Always a great thing 🙂

2) Work was very crazy hectic, with a twist! But K and I went for L’s end of the service year celebration and came back to the office for a cake beard and KPop dance videos.

3) Birthday dinner date in Allston with hot pot and then froyo – my ultimate (but not very original idea) date. We walked around her soon-to-be neighborhood for a quick break and we cuddled a little bit too. She was a smartypants with her teasing, but it’s a good thing she’s sexy and cute.

4) So much birthday love on FB and I also restarted my Instagram. Gonna try to do a photo a day, like my buddies have been doing. It’s a great way to get out there and taking pics again.

5) Roomie N made me a strawberry lemonade cake and it was so delish! She wasn’t very sneaky about it, but that was great. Got to bond with the roomies for a bit and that was nice. Giving D more of a chance, she’s nice, I just don’t know what to talk about with her. We have mostly stuck to food and yesterday we talked about Boehner suing Obama, and then the Ebola outbreak, so….

6) Family phone call was fun. They asked about my birthday and just general checking in. Mom always asks me about school, dad always about work and my aunt. He asked about dating/settling down and even asked if I had a gf!! Huge steps for him and I’m glad that he’s expanding his worldview. Kinda has to.

Wrapping Things Up

Tuesday 7-29 BL

1) Work off-site meeting was so relaxing and a nice time enjoying our current staff one last time at E’s house. Good food, good company, our coworkers seemed excited about the books we selected as going away presents. We talked about Mofo Math again, things we learned this past year and what we’re looking forward to the next year. I ate all the food and everyone was very proud that I ate all the things.

2) Took our coworker K home and then cutieface and I laid around in the main square for a bit. It was relaxing but very exposed, high school students and cameras in trees made it weird. It was nice to cuddle and be cutesy with babycakes outside on such a nice day though.

3) Much needed F time! K and I went over to see him and got a little pet therapy time too. We watched American Ninja Warrior and they are blackmailing me into doing Halloween stuff this year. F got me a buncha mealworms for my bday though, what a weird and awesome friendship we have…

Delayed Productivity

Monday 7-28

1) Took my time coming into the office and took a very nice shower. Unfortunately, one of my kids commented on my poofy hair, which happens when I shower in the morning. My second day hairgame is on point though!

What my hair looks like on day 2

2) Afterwork book buying for co-workers was fun. I like trolling and being a sasspants sometimes, and I worry about offending or really ostracizing K, but I enjoy being snarky sometimes all the time, so I’m glad she puts up with it.

3) Sushi dinner date with K was great! Veggie tempura sushi is the best and we’ve really gotten it down to an art. This dinner date was not awkward! Hooray for non awkwardness, finally!

So yummy

4) Blog update time was good even though I had to do it and K kept saying “you got this” when really all I wanted to do was cuddle and smooch her.

Two And A Half Sexytimes

Sunday 7-27
1) Lazy Sunday and so rainy outside! We got up all lazy after some tech time for lunch.

2) K took a nap and I creeped on her, which was great!! Also got a little more tech time before she got up and we got a little frisky.

3) Dinner with S and B for “family” dinner. Discussions included: American Ninja Warrior, legalization, “guess who’s gay now,” and updates on life. The poor waitress who got so awkward about our friend group, she ran off. We’ll surprise her next time with even more multiculturalism in our family.

4) Got home and decided on Froyo treat as a break. We had to set a timer 😉 Froyo was sooo good and we came back home for the first half of DEBS and then K said she was ‘sleepy’ and we ended up everywhere instead. I pet a sleepy baby to sleep and passed out happy and satisfied.

She’s The Man

Saturday 7-26 BL

1) Took the T in to Boston again for a vegan Thai lunch where we met a mutual friend, steamed about immigration and creepers, but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It was sooo tasty and we talked about awkward dates and figured it out why we are so awkward. It wasn’t an awkward date so that was nice 🙂

2) Shakespeare in the Common with M&S and also B&C. Lots of green snacks by the tree and under the shade. The show was quite good and I indoctrinated some of my friends to yeasty popcorns. Twelfth night is interesting and we talked about gender and sexuality in Shakespeare’s work. The production was super good though and I really enjoy it every year, even if I don’t quite understand Shakespeare all the time.

Suck it Shakespeare!

3) 313 adventure with a stop at GHQ. Weird tension in the air since our latest discussions, but the drag show at the club was fun. The commentary is interesting and problematic but the actual performances were great. Stripped the poor kid, K and I both got groped. But I got groped by the queen that’s going to RPDR in a few weeks!! Asian queen was amazing and so was Candy Couture. Dancing afterwards was fun with K but I get skeeved out by the straight men who come to watch queer ladies dancing. Ugh *eye roll*. It didn’t matter, cuz I super-grinded on K anyway and we went home and had a good private time session 😉

GPOY me before we started dating

Neverending Date #3 – Boston In A Day

Friday 7-25 BL
1) Graduation for K and M was so great! Speakers were amazing in very different ways, the impact and power we have as youth professionals. Refreshing and energizing. Saw so many of my friends and people who I served with years ago. K commented that I know everyone, but it just looks like it because this is the community and network I’ve been a part of for the last few years. It was so nice to spend time with M at lunch too.

2) We went on a Boston harbor walkabout. Weather was perfect and spending time with K was fantastic! We sat down and cuddled, got creeped on by plenty of dudes and talked about my foot in mouth disease aka me saying stupid shit without thinking and hurting others inadvertently. She’s so patient and unjudgemental it is craziness. We talked through a lots of things like jealousy, friendship, and boundaries. I hope I don’t end up in the doghouse again anytime soon!

3) Flour tea break with very hot jasmine teas and chatting about travels, houses, kids, etc.

4) Walked over to Chinatown for another snack with unfriendly bao lady. Then we walked over to the Commons for another nice sit and chat about our family histories, puppies, and white boys busking.

We took a pic under those weepy trees!

5) Starbucks potty break at 5ish and guilt juice before we tried taking selfie pics of ourselves. We settled again in the Gardens for a good two and a half hours and talked about all the things. Poked fun at rich people, uber religious people, talked about our power coupleness, made up stories about people on dates, saw all types of queer lady couples and puppies.

6) Walked along the Charles River as the sun set and it was so beautiful!! More chatting and lovely time. Our walk across Mass. Ave bridge was good and we started planning out dinner.

7) I introduced cutie to the Harvest Co-op in Central Square and she flipped out! She was so happy and giddy by the vegan ice cream and frozen vegan pizzas, I shoulda taken a pic..We got groceries and finally headed home.

8) Cooked dinner: veggie sausage, pasta, broccoli, and sauce. So yumm and I timed the broccoli perfectly, it was delish!

9) Watched Imagine Me and You and made out furiously like we do 😛
