All The Dates!

Saturday 5-17

1) Woke up hella early (“slept in” according to K), ate breakfast and took a nice walk outside on the bike path in both directions. It was so nice to just walk and chat about all kinds of things. Such a nice day for it too!

2) We played OkCupid, which means I asked her to fill out more questions to make sure we’re compatible. It was a lot of fun actually, we talked about certain things and it’s cool to be able to do that. I know it’s silly, but it really did reassure me more that this is something special.

3) Walked to Stoop and Shoop for some vegan friendly groceries, and made cauliflower alfredo and pasta before watching some Xena. I accidentally fell asleep in her lap :< She went to get ready for the day when I was napping and came in looking so sexy, it was awesome.

4) Roller derby was so fun! We didn’t get to stay for the whole match, but the first game was great and I am really stepping up my PDA game now. So much that I worry our holding hands situation is gonna make people uncomfortable. I asked her about it and she said it was ok. She really wants to try out, and I know she’s gonna have tons of fun, but I was semi-teasing her about all the lady-groping that happens. Meh, I’ll get to watch 😀 I’m such a creep, what’s wrong with me?

5) Went to her brother and sis-n-law’s for a get-together, met a good chunk of her family and it was fun. Hot dogs with her younger brother, and met two of her other brothers. Lots of children, and a pup with alopecia. Pistachio cupcake and Despicable Me. Lol, a Leonardo DiCaprio obsession.

Is This Real Life?

Sunday 4-27
1) Burgr was a good call, great food, not much of a wait and eye candy in tight uniforms. Yummm.

2) Selfies cramming and fun walking around the last leg of the day. Fancy menswear stores with hedgehog lapel pins in Crystals, middle finger rings.

3) Got to see the fam for last goodbyes. I didn’t time the trip for enough family time, which is a bummer but I did get to see and chat with all but Lobster. Leaving for airport in a few hours Whirlwind trip and hella fun.

Homeward Bound

Thursday 4-24
1) Got to see my family! It was short lived but my mommy pet my head before I went to sleep, it was very touching.

2) Got Frontier after my sis picked me up from the airport. Frontier is the great equalizer of Albuquerque and all sorts of types of people and groups are all in the same space. Awkward interactions too, oops.

3) Spent my flight finishing up Bossypants and writing all my feels.

“Normal” Sunday

Sunday 3-30

1) Sunday Pho Family Dinner was nice because I love Vietnamese food and there’s no good stuff up here. We gotta go to Dorchester for the good stuff, and we have a “regular” table now. It’s kinda awesome and a good chance to get all my friends together for family dinner. Bun thit nuong come to me!

2) I did some pushups and stretched in my room for a bit, it felt great. I wish I had more space and didn’t have to worry about noise, but it’s working for me because my body hurt on Monday.

3) Cleaned baby’s cage and hung out with baby face. I think we’re getting to a really good place. She doesn’t poke me as much and makes so many cute faces all the time. She’s a little on the chubby side, I should do research on weight regulation cat foods, but I love the extra to pat and love on.
