For Cutie:

“Lazy Sunday” Date Day

Sunday 8-17 BL
1) Babes got up so early so I kinda did too. We got up and went for Life Alive and talked about feminism, more specifically, how stupid dumb girls pose for pictures. We sat outside on City Hall Lawn again and talked about dirty nasty birds “hey we’re eating” and other things.

2) Food shoppins at the Co-op and got a few meals worth of food. Got home and realized we have all the food and leftovers that we really need to eat up. Gonna try and not buy any other food this week. We’ll see how that goes. We talked about life priorities and what needs are the most important to us. Things are gonna change schedule-wise so I’m trying my best to prepare for it. Sucks that I totally did read about this way back and I knew deep down that this was gonna be how it is, but I didn’t realize that it was gonna happen so soon.

3) Lunch #2 for cutie and then we took a glorious nap for a few hours.

4) Tattoo time! We played tattoo parlor and drew our tatt ideas on each other. K did a real cool rainbow line on my left forearm and then ‘let it go’ on my right. I really want it in her handwriting but it’s not a great idea to do that even though her handwriting is the best and it’s so pretty. Maybe someday…I drew some ugly ass flowers on her sleeve in smelly markers and actually liked the sunflower quite a bit, but the daisies were shit. My concept rose turned out ok and my lettering was pretty good too.

5) Cooked dinner. Quinoa, potatoes, kale, garlic, and onions. So yummy! Babycakes is the best at making healthy vegan foods and it’s a good thing for me!

6) We had spa day, cucumber clay face masks and giggled at each other before separate 😦 showers.

7) Trolling the cutie for her naked girls in her ’email’ and gotta remember to ask about her secret paper and research on tattooed sexy ladies. Def gonna remember that one. Trolling K is pretty easy, she just digs that hole deeper and deeper… Yummy sexytime and sleep. I had a rough sleep and crazy dreams tho.

She’s The Man

Saturday 7-26 BL

1) Took the T in to Boston again for a vegan Thai lunch where we met a mutual friend, steamed about immigration and creepers, but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It was sooo tasty and we talked about awkward dates and figured it out why we are so awkward. It wasn’t an awkward date so that was nice 🙂

2) Shakespeare in the Common with M&S and also B&C. Lots of green snacks by the tree and under the shade. The show was quite good and I indoctrinated some of my friends to yeasty popcorns. Twelfth night is interesting and we talked about gender and sexuality in Shakespeare’s work. The production was super good though and I really enjoy it every year, even if I don’t quite understand Shakespeare all the time.

Suck it Shakespeare!

3) 313 adventure with a stop at GHQ. Weird tension in the air since our latest discussions, but the drag show at the club was fun. The commentary is interesting and problematic but the actual performances were great. Stripped the poor kid, K and I both got groped. But I got groped by the queen that’s going to RPDR in a few weeks!! Asian queen was amazing and so was Candy Couture. Dancing afterwards was fun with K but I get skeeved out by the straight men who come to watch queer ladies dancing. Ugh *eye roll*. It didn’t matter, cuz I super-grinded on K anyway and we went home and had a good private time session 😉

GPOY me before we started dating

Neverending Date #3 – Boston In A Day

Friday 7-25 BL
1) Graduation for K and M was so great! Speakers were amazing in very different ways, the impact and power we have as youth professionals. Refreshing and energizing. Saw so many of my friends and people who I served with years ago. K commented that I know everyone, but it just looks like it because this is the community and network I’ve been a part of for the last few years. It was so nice to spend time with M at lunch too.

2) We went on a Boston harbor walkabout. Weather was perfect and spending time with K was fantastic! We sat down and cuddled, got creeped on by plenty of dudes and talked about my foot in mouth disease aka me saying stupid shit without thinking and hurting others inadvertently. She’s so patient and unjudgemental it is craziness. We talked through a lots of things like jealousy, friendship, and boundaries. I hope I don’t end up in the doghouse again anytime soon!

3) Flour tea break with very hot jasmine teas and chatting about travels, houses, kids, etc.

4) Walked over to Chinatown for another snack with unfriendly bao lady. Then we walked over to the Commons for another nice sit and chat about our family histories, puppies, and white boys busking.

We took a pic under those weepy trees!

5) Starbucks potty break at 5ish and guilt juice before we tried taking selfie pics of ourselves. We settled again in the Gardens for a good two and a half hours and talked about all the things. Poked fun at rich people, uber religious people, talked about our power coupleness, made up stories about people on dates, saw all types of queer lady couples and puppies.

6) Walked along the Charles River as the sun set and it was so beautiful!! More chatting and lovely time. Our walk across Mass. Ave bridge was good and we started planning out dinner.

7) I introduced cutie to the Harvest Co-op in Central Square and she flipped out! She was so happy and giddy by the vegan ice cream and frozen vegan pizzas, I shoulda taken a pic..We got groceries and finally headed home.

8) Cooked dinner: veggie sausage, pasta, broccoli, and sauce. So yumm and I timed the broccoli perfectly, it was delish!

9) Watched Imagine Me and You and made out furiously like we do 😛

This young man makes me think twice about complaining His video which is super hard to hear

These little ones are the best

Seriously considering cutting back on red meats because of this article. Makin changes, and trying my best. I dunno if I can go 100% veggie/vegan, but I have started thinking a lot more before I make food choices now. Cutieface may appreciate it 🙂

Speaking of which: creamy vegan pasta recipes

This poem “She Let Go” is really doing it for me rn

Haven’t tried it yet, but Google Maps incorporated a game called Smarty Pins These young men are fantastic

Reminder to buy more comics: Lumberjanes

This TED Talk on everyday leadership is pretty interesting. You can change people’s worlds very easily.

All The Dates!

Saturday 5-17

1) Woke up hella early (“slept in” according to K), ate breakfast and took a nice walk outside on the bike path in both directions. It was so nice to just walk and chat about all kinds of things. Such a nice day for it too!

2) We played OkCupid, which means I asked her to fill out more questions to make sure we’re compatible. It was a lot of fun actually, we talked about certain things and it’s cool to be able to do that. I know it’s silly, but it really did reassure me more that this is something special.

3) Walked to Stoop and Shoop for some vegan friendly groceries, and made cauliflower alfredo and pasta before watching some Xena. I accidentally fell asleep in her lap :< She went to get ready for the day when I was napping and came in looking so sexy, it was awesome.

4) Roller derby was so fun! We didn’t get to stay for the whole match, but the first game was great and I am really stepping up my PDA game now. So much that I worry our holding hands situation is gonna make people uncomfortable. I asked her about it and she said it was ok. She really wants to try out, and I know she’s gonna have tons of fun, but I was semi-teasing her about all the lady-groping that happens. Meh, I’ll get to watch 😀 I’m such a creep, what’s wrong with me?

5) Went to her brother and sis-n-law’s for a get-together, met a good chunk of her family and it was fun. Hot dogs with her younger brother, and met two of her other brothers. Lots of children, and a pup with alopecia. Pistachio cupcake and Despicable Me. Lol, a Leonardo DiCaprio obsession.

New England Spring Date

Friday 5-9
1) O2, vegan lunch date, we were still nervous but it’s ok, we’re trying new things and I’m having fun. Expanding life!

2) Walk about Glow-cess-ter/Gloucester for N’s softball game. Book store, Pink dessert store and arts and crafts store. Walk by the coast, the rocks and the cannons. Hiking, family, relationship stories, toasters, breeders and hs drama. Art, chocolates, record store, fears and kids. Social vegetarianism. Game, good effort from Cambridge! Pretty fun, team sports, Cambridge v. Gloucester teams and crowds, cold butts and yelling mean things, roller derby. I wanted hot cocoa, a snuggie, and cuddles in the bleachers. Back home to my magical time machine/bed for a short “get warm session.”

3) B and more House of Cards marathon. Sucks you in and I totally get why now.
